George Stephanopoulos said in yesterday's (5/13/07) show This Week the following:

"I think anyone who wouldn't vote for Barack Obama because he is black, wouldn't vote for a Democrat anyway".

In other words, only Republican voters are racist. Someone should educate Mr. Stephanopoulos that racism is an unfortunate human failing not monopolized by Republican voters. It defies politics and it's a total insult by Mr. Stephanopoulos to all decent Republican voters.

This comment is incredulous and Mr. Stephanopoulos should retract it right away.
